Hi! I am Dr. Samuel Muobom Saabome, a Materials and Polymer Scientist, Chemical Engineer, and innovator passionate about sustainable materials and advanced manufacturing. My work focuses on polymers, plastics, rheology, degradation mechanisms, recyclability, and circular economy solutions. I recently completed my PhD at Seoul National University and am pursuing a career in industrial R&D, bridging scientific research with real-world engineering challenges.

I am also the founder and CEO of RHEOGREEN, a startup dedicated to transforming coloured plastic waste into valuable resources through innovative recycling technologies. Beyond research, I enjoy connecting with students, researchers, and entrepreneurs who are passionate about science, sustainability, and innovation.

I enjoy snowboarding in winter and surfing during summer. Music keeps me going on the daily, with a soft touch for art and fashion.

At the Micro-Rheology Laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Kyung Hyun Ahn for a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering. My research focused on polymer processing, rheology, degradation mechanisms, advanced recycling technologies, and sustainable materials engineering. Through interdisciplinary research and international collaborations, I contributed to multiple SCI publications, patent development, and innovative solutions for polymer sustainability and circular economy applications.

For my master's studies, I investigated the relationships between material structure, processing conditions, and rheological behavior in complex polymer and particle systems. My work involved electrorheological materials and designing nano and micro spheres for smart material applications

I pursued intensive Korean language training at the Sun Moon University Korean Language Institute. This experience not only strengthened my Korean language proficiency but also provided valuable cultural immersion, helping me successfully adapt to academic and professional life in Korea. It laid the foundation for effective communication and collaboration within multicultural environments.

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), one of Africa’s leading science and technology universities located in Kumasi, Ghana. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, where I developed a strong foundation in process engineering, materials science, and problem-solving. During my studies, I led major engineering projects in both my third and fourth years, fostering leadership, teamwork, and project management skills that continue to shape my professional journey today.
